I am planning to visit Italy, France, and the Uk next Fall (arouund Sept.-Oct 2009). Can you please recommend important, religious, historical and tourist places to visit, see and shop at?
Also, any recommendations for reasonable and safe family type or similar Inns or lodgings for the economically conscious traveler wooud be greatly appreciated where a foreigner can feel at home to ask for directions or local sightseeing. Local simple restuarants as well.
Thanks so much,
Maria Robb
