Africa for decades has had an image of an area plagued with disease, poverty, hunger, racial tensions and conflicts. However, there are many humanitarians who are trying to change this, and there has been an attempt to explore its geographical resources, cultural diversity and rich history. A Safari literally means a trip or an expedition and Africa is globally popular for them. The continent's beauty lies in its picturesque landscapes and virgin greenery. The Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe are a magnificent site and considered to be a tourist hub. Mozambique is also well known for its lovely beaches. Namibia is a destination particularly visited because of its topography. The Namib Desert, The Central Plateau and the Fish River Canyon in the southern part of the country are some of the most impressive locations.
